Hi my name is Jacee and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Kansas. I specialize in working alongside preteens and teens as they navigate the challenges that arise in this period of life. I strive to create a safe, affirming, and empowering space where my clients can feel genuinely heard and seen. My goal is to partner with them to explore thought patterns and behaviors that may be holding them back, process and understand their emotions, and recognize the strengths they already possess. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, motivation, grief and loss, and the social issues that arise during the teenage years. I also provide support for those dealing with divorce and family structure changes. I utilize an integrated theoretical approach, including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to tailor my methods to each individual’s needs.
