Sometimes we find ourselves going down the wrong path, getting further from our goals or desired destination. We might feel stuck in a rut, feeling depressed, anxious, low, irritable, angry or ambivalent. Our bodies warn us, we experience illness and dis-ease. Our behaviors indicate we’re headed in the wrong direction by avoiding or staying stuck in destructive patterns. Our thoughts tell us unhelpful, automatic messages that are often inaccurate propelling us down the wrong path. Through the therapeutic process we begin to choose a new path. Choice embodies power.
