Learn more about The Greenhouse

It takes a village! We want to be a part of yours. At the Greenhouse, we believe healing happens in community, not isolation. Our mission is rooted in the idea that families flourish when they are seen, supported, and surrounded by intentional, life-giving spaces. We invite caregivers, kiddos and professionals to come alongside one another and create a community where educating, sharing, questioning and play are welcome!

What we do

Our Mission

The Greenhouse is a village of parents, professionals and youth who strive to create a cohesive and caring community for understanding littles to teens’ mental health. The Greenhouse is full of accessible and powerful tools and guides to help those who aid in nourishing young minds. The material provided by The Greenhouse is rooted in early childhood development, child psychology and clinically successful play therapy interventions. The Greenhouse believes in making every parent, child and professional feel seen, heard, and valued in their quest to understand themselves and the ones they care for.

Our Team

Marisa Meyer

Nice to meet you! My name is Marisa Meyer and I am a Certified Play Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in working with children, teens and their families adjusting through moments of transition, grief, attachment, relational conflict, trauma and more.

As a therapist, it has always been my mission to produce an informative space for parents interested in making an impact on their child’s lives.  I am deeply passionate about providing you with the necessary tools and insights to navigate the intricacies of child development. Collaboration and communication are the perfect recipe to set our children up for success!

As a mother I found myself constantly saying, “Surely I’m not the only one who has wondered this…” or “I promise I’ll go to bed, let me just google one more thing.” If you find yourself in the same position, you have a place here. The Greenhouse has been one of my biggest joys to curate. It is my desire for this community to be challenged, shaped,  nurtured and seen.

My wish as you join our community would be that you take your time, leave your self-doubt at the door and acknowledge just how important you are to the little ones in your life. You are making a monumental impact on their journey. Here’s to nothing but joy, curiosity and quality time along the way!
